What to expect

We’re a community of people of all ages and backgrounds, and we hope that you’ll feel welcomed whoever you are.

You will notice a group of musicians who lead us in a range of songs, some old, some new to help us express our praise to God.

The person leading the meeting will pray and may mention events that are coming up.
We don’t ask for money during our meeting – many of our regular members give by standing order, and we also have a collection box near our bookstall.

One of the church family will read a passage from the Bible, and the talk that follows will explain what the passage means and how it applies to us today. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time, or have been a Christian for many years, you should be encouraged and inspired. We hope that everyone will draw closer to God.

What about children?

Children of all ages are very welcome, and there are groups for those up to and including school year 6 during the service. We run a self-service creche for parents with babies, with an audio feed. For those at secondary school there is a group that meets before the service.

Does it matter what I wear?

No! Some people wonder if there is a dress code for church. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal family church and accept people as they are.

Please have a look around our site – find out a bit about what we believe, or get in touch, or simply turn up on a Sunday – we would love to meet you!
