As a Baptist church we believe that the New Testament teaches that the local church is able to administer its own affairs.
We operate a system of Church Membership that allows us to recognise who is part of our church. Church members are called to pray for God’s wisdom and to show us His will for our shared life. Key decisions do not rest with the ministers, deacons or any other local, national or international body, but are taken by the members meeting together under God’s guidance. Church meetings will make significant appointments including ministers, and agree financial policy and mission.
